Rode down to Pigeon Point a few weekends ago. I think the Pescadero>Skyline>Woodside>RWC return was nicer than the way down which was Daly City>Skyline>92>HMB/HWY1. Maybe it was because the return was also shorter (about 25 miles instead of a little under 50) or maybe because it eschewed the less interesting flat stuff. Not too tough of a ride, especially since I wasn't in a hurry, decent amount of reasonable climbing. The Vanilla performed well with front and rear bags, though I think I may consider drilling the fork (heavens, no!) for a proper bag rack instead of the Rivendell we-think-we're-smarter-than-everyone-else hack that I modified my bar bag for.
